hey...last year there's snowfall in mid december on norhern part of Japan, not just Hokkaido. But usually Hokkaido area has the thick snowfall at early stage. And tokyo was somewhere around March...just some snowflakes... So depends on what kind of snow thickness you refering to. And you're visiting schedule??
