Hey, i was also wondering about the Artist Visa, I'm actually saving for the next 3 years so that i could hopefully get a career/job at a manga company working as an assistant and eventually a pro mangaka. would the artist visa apply to that area?

Hello to everyone!

I'm new on this forum but I have a question. I know that for an instructor visa, 3 years of experiences or a degree are somehow required. What about for the Specialist in humanities/International Services visa? Same rules apply?
I finished a technical upper secondary school for early childhood education (qualified to work as an assistant preschool teacher), fluent in English and Italian, and was wondering if I can get a working permit if I find an international preschool/school in Japan to sponsor me?

Thank you and have a nice day,

D.

99.9% likely you would need a minimum of a 3 year bachelor degree...

sorry

I'm going to university in a year and i have my mind set on becoming a videogames programmer. The main course i have in mind is a bachelors in Computer Games Programming (a subset of computer science), would this degree fall under any of the categories for a work visa? And if so does anyone think a Japanese videogames company would be up for hiring a foreigner?
