Hi George
The way the employers and immigration department see it is:
"Can a Japanese person do the job?"
If a Japanese person can do the job as well as you can - they wont give you the job..
Same goes for all industries here.
Just out of curiosity. What do you work in Japan? What is it that you do that a Japanese person cannot do?
Becouse what I do, I doubt many Japanese could do. And it is not just about the doing. I certanly hope that's not the case with japanese employers. I hope they are interested in doing the things the way they are meant to be done, not just doing. Experience is key and living in a country where worst case scenario is everyday life, I belive I've got what it takes, becouse I've had my share of worst case scenarios some japanese probably would never see.
But people around the world are different and I might be wrong. Only time will tell. And please answer my questions to indulge my curiosity!
