does anyone have a list of the countries u can get a visa on arrival in japan?? i myself am from england and i'd gather i could, but just to be sure:lol:

Type into Google " Japan MOFA ", it will show the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan's website. Click into it and when the page loads click in to the 'Visa' tab at the top. When that page loads, look under ' If your purpose is short term stay ' and click the ' Other Nationalities (if visa is not required' tab.

A new page will then load and then it will show all the various countries that can acquire a tourist permit/visa upon arrival. For the United Kingdom it says 6 months or less but bare in mind you need to register with Japanese Immigration for an Alien card if you plan to stay over 3 months. This applies to all the other countries that allow you to stay up to 6 months in Japan, after 3 months you need to register with Japanese Immigration.
