What Japanese company imports foreign MMA fighters???
The UFC would be the biggest company and promoter of MMA fighters in the world and based in the US, next to them would be the Pride Fighting Championships which is actually based in Japan (now owned by UFC after they bought it). So I'm assuming this is what he might be going for (there could be more organisations but not 100% sure). Im not sure how the whole procedure would work, possibly getting sponsorship from a club and then training towards Events etc
The Visa would fall under 'Entertainer' as sportspeople fall under this. The Visas actually last from 15 days to 1 year and not longer (so you would have to get a Visa renewal every year at most)
It's somthing that I know very little about, it can be a quite obscure (but somewhat popular) profession to get into, particularly in Japan. I do know that one youtuber who J-vlogs and is also an MMA fighter (can't remember the name). But advice for zveiter would be is too train hard and get alot of experience in your own country, not alot of people make it big in MMA unless you have the hardwork and talent.
