as long as we're not japanese fluent, we're treated even worse than caucasian "foreigners"... they would see no reason to keep up the nice pretense when they refuse Koreans or Chinese entry. it's like that all over Japan. but then, considering many Chinese(Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China)'s track record for annoying brash behaviour, i don't disagree with them one bit, even if it means I'm not allowed in Tsukiji. damn Taiwanese "aunties"... (the ones who made Tsukiji close their doors on tourists during bidding time)

are you talking about host/hostess clubs? are they the same as these 'snack' bars? if so, I've heard of them. like mordern-day geisha sort of. although, do they seriously have ones where they don't wear anything?
