I look for interesting anime but, like most things I am generally not a "fanatic." I have seen a bunch of anime, the ones that I like are; Death Note, Code Geass, Jyu-Oh-Sei, and Samurai Champloo, then it goes to (semi) old school stuff, Great Teacher Onizuka, Outlaw Star, Blue Sub. No. 6 and Cowboy Bebop. Code Geass and Jyu-Oh-Sei actually weren't that great critically I just happen to like them, the others on this list though, should have universal appeal; Any human with respect for artistic story telling would love them.
