Reg Time and spending it only working or partying hard, not my thing, time is only wasted if i am forced to do absolutely nothing.

When i see Japanese tourists i wonder always why they bother traveling at all, they see everything on an cameras LCD anyways, staying at home and watching the scenery filmed by an professional on an big high definition screen they would have more from it, and much cheaper!

They "see" foreigners, the few minutes they visit some tourist place, but they spend so little time at one place they can not "learn" about them, it all is an purely visual thing without context.

Working execessivly for extended periods of time for my opinion does not pay out, work hard when there is a lot to do, enjoy the shiny toys you can afford when there is not much to do!

I admire Japanese culture and economie, but i would never consider living it, i need my 10 hours sleep or i get VERY grumpy.

In Japan that would leave me just enough time to do an average Japanese workday!
