Must say, really starting to get into Anime, though I have seen very little so far. Weird as it may sound, watching these shows is what peeked my interest in Japan as a country alltogether.

A friend pointed a show out to me called Elfen Lied. At first I was hesitant since I knew nothing, or very little, about anime. And it being spoken in Japanese was off putting at the start as well.

But now I'm hooked on these shows and currently watching FLCL, which is just...strange so far, but I love it!

The explicit content of some of these shows, am thinking of Kanokon (which I watched before), took a bit of getting used to. But, its sooo OTT and comical, that there is very little sexual about it but just fun to watch.

The shows I watched so far (which aren't many) are:
Elfen Lied - has to be the best for me so far
Kanokon
Queen's Blade
Gurren Lagann

Saw some other titles in this thread I should give a go, when I get around to it.
