At the moment, I am working on memorizing Hiragama and Katana. Unfortunetly, where I live, classes taught my teachers who spoke Japanese first are not available (not even classes taught my english speakers). So, I am limited to ordering books. I believe that I can learn basic grammar by myself (at least, I hope so). Once I learn how to actually speak something, I am hoping to find a partner who wishes to learn English, thus, we can teach eachother. Does anyone know legitimate websites where I can find someone?

Well as much as I see it this seems like a proper site for finding people who are interested in Japanese also. Of course I don't know how good you are but I'm capable of understanding quite a bit in Japanese, but still can't make proper sentences. If you are interested we could try something together ^^
