I JUST realised that these word guides will be different to speakers of English with accents differing from my own-- I'm from Australia.

weal5300, it's closer to the '*oh' sound than the 'o', so, again, tofu is not pronounced toe-foo, but more like toh-hfu as the o is shorter. I know the, I want to say, 'general' US accent (I guess Californian) tends to pronounce words such as 'otter' how I would perceive as 'ahtter', so it's hard for me to come up with examples that would work for everybody =S Sorry!
