I have been kancho'd before by one of my kids while I was taking my shoes off. It's kinda strange but it's all done in good spirit so I didn't scold him or anything. It just doesn't carry the same connotations here and you can't label kids perverts; they're too young to know better.

I've never seen any secu hara on the train or elsewhere before so I can't really comment. Nobody has tried touch me up either from what I know. Sometimes they might be interested in my hair or eyes but I wouldn't ever say someone has gone too far.

I think only crazy people would do it now anyway. Japanese laws around these things have become stricter; so it's not uncommon for a pervert to get caught and face harsh charges. Now a man needs to be careful about even brushing by a woman otherwise she might claim he harassed her.
