The spirit of Bushido describes the "code" or way of living of the old Japanese samurai.
But it is alive and well in the spirit of Japanese people.
Many Japanese people learn many martial arts from a young age, but even those who have never done a martial art have the same warrior spirit deep in their hearts and minds.
One of the favorite words in Japan is "ganbaru" which means "do your best" and, every day, we hear Japanese people say "ganbarimasu!" or "I will do my best!" before they do just about anything!
And it is not just empty words, they mean it!
In English we usually say "good luck!" before someone plays sport or does an examination or climbs a mountain.. Japanese people are more focused on doing their best than hoping for luck!
They do their best and rarely complain - no matter how tough a situation might get!
It is the spirit of the warrior - bushido.

So if i was in japan i could find a dojo where they teach this?

If you were living in Japan long term and could speak pretty good Japanese you could probably find a teacher prepared to teach you.
Not all teachers want to teach foreigners.

I've always thought that someone would wish you "Good luck" as you can do your best but something could go wrong and then you may need some luck.

so they base their decision on your skin color?? They dont even give you the chance to prove yourself?
