Any foreign pilots living in Japan found anywhere to fly cheaply?
Anyone found any ultralight schools or clubs?
Or maybe somewhere to hire cheap cessnas??

This post is a brazen attempt to try to find other pilots in Japan so we can pool our knowledge and try to get in the air... by triggering search engines with these words:

Found what looks like a good flying school north of Tokyo but cant find anything in Aichi yet.
Any pilots know of any flying schools or flying clubs in Aichi Japan????????

Update..

After 4 years of trying to find solutions to the hurdles of converting to a Japanese pilot license, I have found that the Japanese government is not interested in GA at all and tries to discourage it.
Foreign pilots wanting to fly GA in Japan even more so.

Congrats to the Old Dude!

Must be one of the few foreigners to ever get through the process with JCAB and actually get a Japanese Pilot License.
