Many questions about Japan 13 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello everyone, I am new to the forums. Nice to meet you all.

So I had a few questions that after doing a lot of research I felt I required a more definitive answer. I just kinda tossed them in general chat as it seemed the right place. This forum and its youtube channel has been extremely helpful

So tattoo's have been addressed, and I realize that they aren't exactly accepted in Japan. But I want to get a tattoo, and of course keep it in a place that would rarely be seen on my body when wearing clothes. I wouldn't want to close any doors.

But if by chance my boss did learn that I had it, would that endanger my job at all? Also how would a significant other feel if I got in a relationship, is it so serious that I should tell them from the start?

About being seen as a Gaijin. Will I always be seen as one? Even if I live there for 20 years and follow the culture and become a citizen? Is it the way the Japanese are brought up that cause them to see me this way?

I have always wanted to teach and English in japan, that's what I am getting my BA to do. How available is that job in japan? With the recent disasters how will the economy affect me as a new teacher in say 6 years?

Where is a good place to live if you don't want to live in a large city or a too rural area. Something moderate and in between that isn't often frequented by vacationers. I want to get to know the true japan and not a place like tokyo, which seems to be its own world. Also a decent job opportunity.

Sorry about asking so much, but there's much I need to know.
