Neither one of the people bitching about links not being allowed has volunteered to take responsibility to moderate 7 days a week as is required.
They are basically demanding that someone else volunteer.. not very cool.

Youtube is a huge profit making international company with thousands of employees.. this forum operates with 2 volunteers.. Eric and I, so there is zero comparison about how they operate.

Just a bit of history for the aggressive newcomers and for "Qunli" and her husband..
"The Old Dude" started this website when he started on Youtube.. but he became frustrated with all the rudeness and bullshit he had to put up with here..
he was going to close the website.. but Eric and I volunteered to keep it going.
It has been tough.. and that is why we have ZERO tolerance for bullshit.
If Eric walks away - this website and forum will stop operating.

I fully agree with Eric on this one... if you're going to go around and tell every single person that posts a link to remove it anyway, what is the problem with checking the link to make sure it's okay? It takes the same amount of effort to write "take down the link now" in response to a post containing a link as it does to click on the link to make sure that it is safe and relevant (especially if the link directs to a trusted site such as YouTube).

I am very sorry, everyone.

I have a full time job and a family and don't have time to be checking which links are OK and which infect my computer or are spam.

We tried that system for over a year and it was too much for me, I am sorry.

Petina is just trying to lighten my load so please take it easy on her.

If no links are allowed on the forum then I think that this rule should apply to Petina as well. Despite this, as TheShoggoth mentioned, she posted links to three separate websites in the "Youtube Jerks and TJC48" thread under the General category.

The guy who operates TheJapanChannelDcom on Youtube is the founder of this forum.
(That is why the name is the same.)
So we support him.

If you want to post links to TheJapanChannelDcom videos or his Twitter or Facebook (as Petina has done) - feel free to do so as often as you like.

(Just so you all know.. if I have to block people because they are not co-operating with Petina, I do so. Without her, this website is finished.)
