Hello everyone, new member here.
My first question i have about Japan here is, how is it in Japan as a Swede?
I have heard rumours that Japanese people love Swedish people and silly things like that. Is this true, and how would i be met in Japan as a Swede, compared to an American for example, is there any difference there?
Would really like to know this since i'll be spending a year in Japan, maybe two, when i graduate next summer.

I've just read some articles on the internet that claims that Japanese people love Sweden and Swedish people.
They apparently also love the Swedish Falu R?d paint. xD
And to be honest, there is a big difference in how Swedish people act compared to other countries, especially America.

Im moving to Japan next year too, going to study at AILC in Yokohama. What are your plans and where in Japan are you going to? Planning to stay there for two years as Ive heard from people studying there that one year isnt enough.

I'm planning to travel with Blueberryspr?k and choose either KAI Japanese Language School in Tokyo or Genki in Fukuoka.
I'm probably gonna stay for two years, but since i'm not really sure as to how my economy is gonna look like, i will have to check later on, when it's more current.
Also planning, or atleast hoping, to get a part-time job when i'm there as well, as either a Swedish or English teacher. Blueberry helps with finding these things.

I'm going with GoGoNihon. They help me with lots of things like paperwork (visa, letters, etc) and accommodation. Choosing Yokohama since its cheaper to live there then Tokyo and its 30 mins by train to Tokyo from Yokohama. Hoping to have a good economy if I live there, its nice to have some money over if I want to travel around Japan. I've heard that its the language schools who helps you with part-time job.
KAI Japanese Language School in Tokyo seems to be very good. : )
