Where I live it is holiday now . I was just wondering, does the average Japanese person go for holidays overseas? And for the students/ kids, do they have homework in their vacation?

Most people with jobs only get one week holiday a year (with a few public holidays now and again).

Not uncommon for them to travel overseas during that one week.

Oh, they do? I do not want to be rude, but I thought their English was bad. So I thought they would have communication problems. Maybe I asked the wrong question, or maybe you did understand my question . By overseas I thought of another country, not another Japanese Island .

About the homework question. You said that they sometimes get homework in their vacation, so that is not normal? How much homework would they get, and which subjects?

Their English level does not stop them traveling.. (and not all the countries they go to are English speaking countries either..)
If you think about it.. Americans travel the world.. but most of them can only speak English, right??
