What Jobs are open to foreigners? 9 Years, 6 Months ago

Im going to get straight to the point with this post.
I am deeply interested in Japanese culture and just feel like from all Ive learned from my visits enough that I want to move there. However from browsing this forum and the job posting sites for foreigners such as gaijinpot.com I am deeply saddened that the only jobs open to me as an American is teaching English/bartender/or modeling.
My question for this forum is simply this. What are the jobs that are open to foreigners?
I am a 20 and haven't pursued a degree yet but I will depending on what is needed. Also I am Asian-American (non-Japanese) if that will help so you don't recommend me a Job type that's dedicated to an all Caucasian staff.
P.S Before someone says it. I always see the vague answer " What Japanese cant do" That to me is a very vague answer. With that logic then every job would be taken because in essence Japanese can do all of it.

Before you decide to "move" here, you might want to give it a try for a while first, because you don't sound the sort of person who will make it here long term.
You will need the degree first. At least a BA.
Wont get a visa for bar tending.
Wont get a visa for modelling either.
What race your ancestors were is irrelevant to your visa prospects.
You may not like the "what foreigners cant do" answer, but that is the way it is.
Unless you have qualifications or skills that Japan wants, you wont be staying here longer than 3 months. (Visitor status.)
