こんにちは
I am a Swedish Citizen Im currently engaged
with a Japanese girl from Hiroshima.
We had made plans for her to move to Sweden ,fixed with Visa and so on. Unfortunatley her brother has fallen very ill and she is not feeling well moving to Sweden at this point. As her future husband i can understand her and i want to support her.
Im currently investigating what my chances at getting a job in Japan are.
I am 32 years old
I have experience with many things
but im not sure how usefull they are.
I studied music and mathematics at university.
I speak fluent English, I of course
can also speak Swedish. I have moderate understanding of Japanese , since my girl is japanese i try to study as often as possible.
I have worked with computers (design , simpler webpages , flash animation ) Im currently working with importing food for a swedish supermarket.
I also have experience working in hospital.
I have heard that in Japan one needs at least 10 years of experience in a field to be certain of getting a job. Unfortunate for me , i dont have it. Me and my girl would be very gratefull for any help or suggestions we can get.

AFAIK being on a spousal or dependents visa allows you to work unrestrictedly (the term unrestrictedly would be a loose one), so you may be able to get jobs if people wish to hire you on these visas but your sponsor or dependent must be working I think.
Don't quote me 100% on any of this, I would read the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for more information on Visas or get in touch with them.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes i think she needs to be a sponsor for me.
She got visa in my country for 2 years and i had to be sponsor for her. They checked my economy so that it would be sufficient. I think its basic stuff.
The visa issue is not so much of a worry for me.
Im more concerned if getting a job will prove difficult. Im studying hard like hell now , i want to be able to pass JLPT
