Thing is if you have a degree you can go anywhere in the world. So it does help, but yeh being able to teach english is an easy way in to staying in japan I guess.

What is the demand for English Teachers in Japan? 100's of teachers, 1,000's of teachers per year? Do people who come to teach English have to have a degree in English, or a degree in teaching to do it , or just a college degree? Thank you very much!

You can visit Japan for 90 days but trough this period you can't work even as an artist or a painter, drawer etc.
