Working Visa 16 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 22
Working Visas usually require sponsorship by a Japanese company before applying for them.
Some countries do have exchange programs with Japan under which people under the age of thirty can be given one year visas without a sponsor.
The equivelent of a BA degree is usually required for a working visa in Japan (but not always).
If you have any specific questions about working visas in Japan please post them here.

Welcome to the forum

You would need to find an employer before you apply for a visa.
May need a bit more than a BA to get a professorship at a Japanese university though..

May need to settle for a job at an English School.

You are welcome

Obviously the CELTA will be useful for actually doing the job.
It might also encourage a school to pick you rather than someone else.
With or without it you will still need to apply to an English school for a job and get it before you apply for a visa in your country.

I hope this helps
