Could I just get some part-time job in Japan? Then move up?
I plan on going to Japan sometime in the next two years. My Japanese teacher, her cousin is a tea master, and he said he would teach me about tea, and how to do tea ceremonies. And I guess somehow, they have two rooms for anyone who wants to go to Japan. My brother is going to give me his fly benefits so that I won't have to spend 2000$ on the ticket.
Her cousin also wants to start a business in the US to sell Japanese sweets. I tried one, and I like them. The closes thing I could describe it as is beans with sugar. They don't sell this sweet in the US at the moment.
This is still a plan I am thinking through. I am trying harder than ever to hurry up and learn Japanese so that I could go with less problems. (Hear that? LESS! I already know I will be having some problems! Biggest one-homesickness in less than a week there!)
Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi,
you will need a work visa to get a part time job! But a part time job doesn't (usually) sponsor a visa!
Could your japanese friends sponsor your visa. Even without actually providing you a job. Then you could look for part-time ones. Then you could move up, and in a few yars you may apply for a "eijoken" a permanent resident status.
