so, even though I'm 18, have a high school diploma, and not a degree in anything, If I got a company that is completely fine with my skills and wants to hire me, can I get a working visa if they sponsered me?

Unfortunately I will have to say very unlikely, sorry!

High school Diploma does not equal a third level education. Employers look for those who have the required qualifications to do the work (possibly lack therof if they possessed many, many years experience) and from what iv encountered for jobs in Japan you require a Degree.

Also you need a very high level of Oral and Written Japanese to also fulfill the requirements of employment ( which would take years in itself to achieve, alot of jobs state you need 'fluent' or 'near native ability' )

If you're serious about going to Japan to work & live then you should think about doing University.

Strength is the product of struggle, you must do what others don't to achieve what others won't

Like in the US or England, a degree is advisable, but not necessary. There are MANY jobs you can get in Japan without a degree, not Japanese fluency.

Teach English probably..
Unlikely to get a job or visa in your field even if your Japanese was perfect.
Sorry
I was curious why? Sounds way more promising than teaching English...
