Which visa to look into? 14 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
I'm just now learning about requirements in moving to other countries as I have been in America my entire life. I was browsing over the different visa options and would appreciate any help in finding out which exactly I need to be looking into.

I am 23 and currently making my income through online freelance work and internet marketing.

Sorry, I missed those posts while skimming threads. It is very disappointing, but understandable.

I will have to look for something on a tourist visa I suppose. What about working hours in Japan for foreigners? Is a full-time job mandatory? It would be great to find a less demanding job in Japan so I could continue doing what I love.

How well is the tourist visa trick working these days? Could I just visit family back in America once in awhile to get the visa renewed?

You wont get a company to sponsor you for a part-time job.

Yes, you can come on a tourist visa and leave and come back again.
But do it too many times and they will refuse you.

@ Mehdispy

There are visas for you to go to Japan to learn Martial Arts (Cultural Visas AFAIK). But to get the visa you have to be studying/practicing a Martial Art for some time and also get a reference/refferal from your Instructor to study at a Dojo (whom I think the Sensei would be acquainted with?)

I'm not entirely sure myself but if you look through the forums the topic has been covered in detail before.

Best of Luck
