I could imagine these places are a lot of fun. When I go to Japan next year with a few friends I will have to make a point to visit one of these places. I will be a cold day in heck before I am caught singing in on though! HAHA

do they sing even if they're bad? from what i've seen (which is, to be fair, only J and K dramas) every one sings, has a ball, even if they suck at it. plus, do the mics always have that annoying echo sound? is it supposed to make them sound like their on stage? I don't get the whole thing, even if i can appreciate it from afar. you won't get me up there >_<.

Everyone sings even if they're bad! The mics can be adjusted so you can choose whether or not they echo, but I like the echo because it makes me sound better! You can choose the way you want to sing too. Most people I know just stay seated and sing, but sometimes you drink way too much melon soda and start bouncing on the couches and screaming as loud as you can! (I'm pretty sure I was sugar high. Some places have a free drink bar.) Even if you can't sing I would recommend you try it! No one cares if you sing badly because even one else sucks too!
