well, they get payed for talking with u, so u can use that to learn from them how to start a conversation with a girl you like
some ppl learn that from sisters, but not all sisters are "good enought"

Hmmm sounds interesting, as ScarletFox said I think it would be an interesting place to go and visit just to see what was going on. Free drinks and practise your Japanese on a pretty lady... not all bad... depending on the 'flat rate'

I think the next to no clothing / naked option would feel a bit too sleazy to have a normal conversation though.

Sure!

But just be aware that many of them don't accept foreigners.
Maybe because we have a reputation for bad behavior.

going off the topic at hand here since i was too sure where to post this but,
What about night clubs for dancing? any popular places that are worth checking out in tokyo area?
How do they feel about foreigners in clubs? is it a bit more accepted or do they still feel uncomfortable in there presence?

I heard Roppongi is a nice district in Tokyo where masses of foreigners go to enjoy the nightlife.

Also heard many nightclubs don't allow foreigners in.

In terms of finding a foreigner-tolerant nightclub, Roppongi is where I'd search for it.

I'm sure the others on here can provide you with much better advice.

Do they treat people of Asian/Oriental descent differently than other ethnicities or they just considered "foreigners"? I am rather curious about this.
