Yeah, homestay in Japan can be cool and possible to do it for as little as one week if you want to (usually) so it is a great way to go.

when i am first come japan and do homestay as teenager , i had big trouble ! when i use toilet to do big thing i put toilet paper after in wastebasket. i not know used ass paper go in toilet water. in china peoples never put toilet paper in water and flush because piping is too small and make stop . then understand ,ok. here is different . host mother is very shock , said so stinky brown paper ,why i do that ??
