Now when you say expensive, how expensive are you talking about? Me and my girlfriend are coming to japan to study japanese for atleast 6 months and we are paying quite a hefty sum to live in a student home (share kitchen toilet shower and laundryroom) and the room is very small with a bunkbed. (Like a bed ontop of another bed.) For this we pay aprox 108,200 Yen and I thought it was a little overkill, but We are willing to pay that sum b/c we need a place to stay as we study.

Edit: Oh, we are going to Tokyo.

the schools make a bit more from you from accommodation because they know that..

Ahh, okay. I suspected as much. Hopefully we will decide to stay longer than 6 months. That is if we find that we need to stay a bit longer to learn japanese and/or we feel that we just HVE to stay in japan for a while longer.
