Adultery is a time-honored tradition that has little to do with "Western" influence. Adultery was prolific long before the founding of the United States, or even any of its predecessors... I think you may be looking at relationship and marriage through inexperienced eyes since you haven't done it yet (I'm sure your positions will adjust as you do). Also, who defines what promiscuous means? What is the standard? Isn't promiscuity a completely subjective term?

I believe, according to their culture, Japanese women prefer not only a friendly (but not too friendly) and responsible man, but an honorable one. One who is level headed and wise, with compassion and a noble heart, one who is not boastful but soft in his voice (not to be taken out of context.)

If I were you, I wouldn't try to be like that for the sake of winning a Japanese girl's heart, but to be like that because it's in your character. There is no guarantee that Japanese women will fall for you left and right, it's per individual.

I believe that applies to all women. The person you are, whether a good or bad image, will attract others with a similar image. One should not be fake, otherwise the relationship will cause a lot of pain.

My view of Japanese women may be biased, but I have lived in the US my whole life... I have seen many kinds of women ranging from sweet angels to demons. ^^; From my experience here I see Japanese women, as said in earlier posts, to be innocent more so than women in other countries. Of course, only to a certain level. I am not saying that they are perfect because that is by far untrue. But in general, Japanese people are more polite and reserved since they are raised this way. This is what I feel is the best attribute about Japanese women that I have not yet seen from women in my country.

As a girl, I do wish I was Japanese to have such beautiful smooth skin and a thin body. I really envy it! X) I suppose this is what attracts men the most.
