Never looked at school girls before I came to Japan..
But here it is hard not to.. magazines, TV, advertising signs.. the schoolgirl sure is a sex symbol and trend setter in Japan!!
On TV everything from houses to phone services are advertised with school girls in uniform.

As for other Japanese fashion.. I love it!!
Like being back in the 80's again!!
Particularly the guys!
White suits, shirts open to the navel, hats etc etc
Pimp style meets Saturday Night Fever!!


Also the "Miami Vice" style - suits worn with v cut t-shirts and bling

I like the school girl look for sure. I am still only nineteen though, so it's cool. I like the Goth-loli look too but, only when its done right. I accidentally posted something that belonged on this thread somewhere else... Is it cool to the Japanese (youth especially)if a westerner dresses in line with the current Japanese clothing trend?

Japanese culture is really amazing and interesting. I also love the country because of its beautiful people.Their way of life,Fashion,values and culture beliefs are really colorful and interesting. I was really amazed how they celebrate marriage. The wedding ceremony is really awesome. Thanks for sharing post.

My favorite accessoriess are Earrings, Necklaces, and rings and from time to time bracelets. My favorite accessorie color is something like black or white during the winter but during spring and summer i like spring colors like yellow,light oranges, turquoise, lime,light pink etc.
