I just want to thank Leon for posting, that Smart.fm page is really cool.

I started with hiragana.
I dunno, for me hiragana is a lot easier to memorize, the letters have shape, form, one letter differs from another, not like katakana letters with bunch of straight lines, they all look the same to me.

I just want to learn something new and different, for my own amusement.

Oh yeah, and one more thing. Hiragana is cuter and prettier than katakana (read: more girly).

Haha it's all fine until you start learning to write it, then you will be wishing they are all straight lines (some of those curvy bas**rds are annoying to 'draw'

I'm more or less 100% on Hiragana now but only got about 2/3 of Katakana sorted. Not looking forward to stating on the Kanji
