I would suggest taking Japanese language classes with a Japanese instructor. If that is not possible for you try using Rosetta Stone : , you can order it online or buy it at a book or computer store in almost any country.

I've watched tons of anime. but any realistic ones . I'm digging in my list, but cant find anyone that doesn't have a pinch of unreality in it.

please say that it can have some sort of unreality and I'll give you a bunch of deep drama and dreamy heartbreaking romance

If you happen to live anywhere where there is something like MediaCom or another cable network that offers On Demand, where you can watch a show anytime, I once watched a few Japanese realistic anime with english subtitles if you want. That was kinda fun and helpful to here someone talking.

Watch anime all you want, it's bound not to be realistic at all and you will learn no relevant and/or useful japanese from it.
The above statement isn't meant to be mean, but I've been where you are, and I study japanese from a native teacher now. After more than three years of trying to learn it naturally, you just can't do that as a "westerner".
As far as anime goes. . . I only know the sci-fi fantasy stuff so. . .
Well anyways.
Hope I didn't put you down all too much, good luck with your new goal =D
