i was wondering if anyone been to a japanese immersion program in canada. i was wondering how long you stay in one, and if possible are they during august and july

I'm looking for something to get me started in Toronto. but i've heard of whats essentially a 'work term' in japan for traveling students and other westerners.

basically, you go over there and do manual labor, and in return your host will house, feed, and sometimes show you around the area. people jump from one site to another literally working their way through japan.

Yeah, somebody mentioned that on here recently.. but they did not have any information on it..

Just sounds like a rumor... I just can't imagine Japanese people doing that..

If anyone finds any clear info on it, I would LOVE to hear about it

You can get information about that program from Japanese embassy in your country...
