That was definitely an interesting video. Thanks for posting it! He was right in how the religious aspects of Japanese culture such as visiting shrines on New Years are so intertwined that people don't even see them as being religious activities. I love to talk philosophy, religion and the like so based on these videos it wouldn't seem that Japanese people get as easily offended over this subject. Do you think your average Japanese person would be okay with discussing religion? I would love to hear a different opinion on belief in god and the like with someone from Japan who just has a different paradigm than those in other countries.
