I just watched the election video and it made me wonder. Is there any way for someone not originally from japan to vote in an election in japan or is it a 'never going to happen' even if you become a Japanese citizen through marriage or something like that?

As far as I know you can?t vote if your a foreigner there with a regular visa. However, you can vote once you become a japanese citizen. Hope that helped.
