Hi, I was wondering, is it true that japanese people throw functional old TVs and others electronic Items to the garbage or trash? for ex a had a japanese friend who once because his laptop had a malfunction and the repair was expensive hi put it into the trash, he didnt gave it to anybody because is rude give as a gift others used items........
just wondering

I saw one about recycling trash and another about second hand shops
