Hi, I am interested in coming to Japan but I have an illness that requires that I take medication every day. Can you tell me the process by which I would see a doctor and be prescribed medication. I have contacted the company that makes the medication and they say that it is available in Japan, so I just need to know how to get it. Thanks

Check with the consulate and ask if you can bring a stock with you (with a script from your doctor). Then, when you get here, just go to a hospital or private clinic and get a prescription here. If your Japanese is not excellent, take a translator
