Hello, Me and a friend planing on doing a long trip to Japan 3-6 Months and travelling around in Japan by bikes ("backpacking". However there might be needed to camp outside or simply sleep wherever there is a roof, but is this legal to do in Japan? Oh, I might also mention that we will not littering where we sleep. Also is there any other law or anything else that we should know of? Thanks.

Not a lot of places in Japan you could camp.. most likely end up on private property and get arrested.. Might want to rethink the plan...
