Hi, I once posted here on this matter, and I wish to ask about some stuff.

I am really interested in aviation and I always wanted to become a pilot, and I found a course in Tokai University that is actually in cooperation with ANA. It's like a 3-4 year aviation course. I've e-mail this university and have been told that I would need a certain level of Japanese. In this university, they also offer courses for foreigners in Japanese and I am very interested in going for it. I am currently gathering as much information before I take a final decision.

First of all, if you know about this course, do you recommend it? Is it worth learning Japanese for if I have the passion for both Aviation and Japan aswell as Japanese language?

I was also worried about commuting from the dorms to the school. I don't know how to speak much in Japanese, would I find commuting difficult? Are there English signs for trains and buses? How do foreigners with no knowledge of reading or writing Japanese commute?

If I would need to find a job after I have finished the Japanese course, for example in English teaching or Japanese-English translations or something, would it be possible with O level English and GCSE Intermediate English(High School degree)

University level Japanese would take years to achieve.. and they would expect you to have it BEFORE enrolling, I would think..
Which country are you from?

I am from Malta, Europe. I am currently at the only university in my country, in a course which I found out that, it's not me and not enjoying it at all. I tried looking for courses in Japanese language in my country and have been unsuccessful, as there isn't even a Japanese consulate or embassy. The closest embassy to my country would be Rome. For the university course I would like to take in Japan, you would need to pass a Japanese placement exam. So before, one would need to take an intensive Japanese course.

hmmmmmmm .. difficult...

I'm in need of some help. Can someone suggest to me a school or institute which offers courses in Japanese language for people who are strangers to the language?
