Do japanese people watch a lot of dramas?? If so, do any channels in japan show any dramas from Latin America?

The three main TV genres/types that were on TV while i was there were:

1) Variety Shows
2) Sports - ALOT of baseball (but Sumo tournament was on so alot of that too)
3) Dramas

I never saw any Dramas from other countries being broadcast on TV. Unless they have special tv channels that cater for them

I found this channel on youtube and it may be on some japanese tv channel too.

It was a while ago when I seen it and now I am trying to find it again.

It is a show about a girl in a room.
When she sings or dances two green monster hands come out from under the bed.
The monster waves them but goes back under the bed when she is done.
Later in the show the girl befriends the monster.

I don't know the name and I tried putting all kinda of related words to the show in romanji, hiragana, and kanji into the youtube search bar.

Kudasai for any help.
