probably he had different thing in his head...
is it possible to get a job w/o knowing japanese, or knowing just a little enought to be able to buy milk?

becouse as i understood, ppl get visa becouse they have a contract for a job...

Living in Japan would be difficult if you can speak any Japanese...
would need at least to be able to get around..

As for getting work.. it depends on the person's qualifications and experience whether they could get a job or a visa.

Without knowing about a person's background nobody here could really give a clearer answer than that.

Really best to look at the visa threads too

Well I just want to know if there is any other job for us besides teaching english and could I get a job without a degree(I don't have it)...

Sure.
If you have the qualifications and experience!!
For example, if you have years of experience as a computer engineer maybe you can get a job doing that.
Or some other specialty like that.
The Japanese companies and Japanese government need to see that you have some skill that will be of use to them.
I think the reason that nobody else is answering you here is that it is impossible to help you if we don't know your qualifications and experience.
Did you read all the threads on visas?
