Hello
I looked through the forums and couldnt find anything regarding the architectural field in Japan. I love architecture and even more specifically I love Japanese architecture (modern and traditional) and I would love to get a job in that field in Japan.
I have heard in the past the architecture firms in Japan can be very stand off-ish about hiring foreigners, but I was wondering if anyone on these forums had any information about getting a job in an architecture firm. I have to mention that I do not have my architectural license, and that right now the job I would be qualified for is just a draftsman not the actual architect. I would love any information I could get.
Thank you
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas
So you looked through the forum?
You read about the visa requirements and so on?
So you know that Japanese companies wont hire a foreigner for a job that a Japanese person can do?
And that a job like you describe would need a high level of written and spoken Japanese?
And that a degree is usually necessary to get a visa or job?
Best of luck to you.
