It's possible, but I don't think it's as easy as that. Firstly you need to pay for your tuition and costs before applying for part time work as a student in Japan. Then there's the possibility of 1) Not being approved for Part time work and 2) not actually finding any work which will leave you in a worse situation.

Personally, if you want to go to Japan to work, get a Bachelors Degree in your home country first where you can be more sure that you will be supported financially.
