I'm new here. =)
So i would like to ask, if i can get a job in IT? Because i see that there are only topics about english teaching in japan....well, there are other topics, but this is frequently seen...

If you ask if i have a degree, then i still don't have it, because i'm only a 3 year in Bachelors of Computer Science.

Yes, it's possible. You would want to start brushing up on your Japanese pretty well though before even looking for jobs in IT in Japan.

The visa that you would need to apply for in Japan for IT would be an 'Engineers' visa.

That also said, jobs in IT will also be alot more competitive.

somehow i think that i'll get to that point, where i'll know japanese well =) also with work, yeah i'm thinking that it will be tough to get a job in IT, but still, it's worth to try =)

I have have read somewhere that Japanese aren't so good with computers, however I higly doubt about this.

1/ All japanese families/people have and use a computer or laptop. This is because they make the newest technologies and the prices are lower for their society. However when they import you'll notice a huge raise in the price.

2/ I think IT is rapidly chainging with the time. I mean you have studies something those 5 or 4 years and when you finally graduate you realise there are many new things you don't know.

3/ If you are good in programming then you definetely stand a better chance. Also if you learn Japanese language at some level than your chances are even higher to find a job.
4/ Working for Google is quite well paid and enjoyable so you could give it a try.

i think so too, that the IT is moving up in japan. =) about google, i'm thinking of trying it, but dunno, maybe it's a rip-off... but thanks =)
