I've heard the same, up to 15% of the
value of the property is lost the moment
contracts are signed and before the ink
has time to dry. I'm seriously considering
investing in Japan but I don't consider
buying an apartment as a viable investment
option, especially with the potentially high
monthly maintenance costs incurred.
I'm having to have to go and rethink
this one out again. Getting a parcel of
land is good, and building on it is fine
since you can tailor it your own budget,
but it sure is going to make the process
of buying and building more complex.
